JoomSimple
Simple Steps User's Manual
This manual will help you operate JoomSimple Steps joomla plugin.
First of all install and activate the plugin.
This is how the plugin's settings page looks like:
The most important of them are "Title tag" and "Next button tag".
You can use any html tag supported by your editor here, but you should choose tags that you don't normally use in articles. The plugin will use theese tags to find each slide title and "next slide" button text.
All options have description so it's not nescessary to explain it here.
Now edit the article in which you would like to use the plugin.
Let's assume that you left the plugin's settings untouched.
This screenshot shows how the article should look like in your wysiwyg editor:
And this is the article's html:
It's easy to see from this example that the plugin searches for {simplesteps}-tag in articles. Everything wrapped by the tag will be transformed into slides.
- "Width:xxx" parameter inside the tag defines the article width(xxx - width in pixels).
- <hr /> tag is a delimiter for slides.
- <h5> is a tag that defines title for current slide.
- <h6> is a tag that defines text on "next slide" button.
If you set "enable plugin" option to "No", the plugin will cut all the tags described here and show the article in it's usual state.
